Monticello’s Home Delivered Meals

CentraCare Health — Monticello’s Home Delivered Meals

CentraCare Health–Monticello’s Home Delivered Meals program was started by the hospital 20 years ago and continues to be an important service today.

Volunteers from the hospital, as well as local service organizations and businesses within the Monticello community, provide the daily service of delivering nutritious meals and social interaction to low-income individuals with chronic health issues in Monticello. Meals are prepared by the hospital and delivered five days a week, even on holidays, to individuals within a three mile radius of CentraCare Health–Monticello’s campus.

With the generous support of the Wright County Area United Way, CentraCare Health–Monticello was able to provide 4,262 meals to nearly 30 program participants in 2012. The hospital is proud to continue with its long tradition of delivering healthy meals to community members in need to support their overall well-being.
